Another year and another successful  season for Santa's Workshop!  Over 2200 children, 1000 families, have benefited from the well stocked shelves at Santa's Workshop and we haven't stopped yet.  Emergency applications keep rolling in and by Christmas I estimate we will have serviced close to 2500 children! How amazing!

Santa and his elves were a bit worried this year as gas and grocery prices continued to rise and the donations for the year were down.  But our dedicated donors pulled us through another year, our shelves were well-stocked and we were open for business.

As the President of Santa's Workshop for a second consecutive year, the generosity of the Fort Hood military community and surrounding Killeen area continues to amaze me.  Even in times when we all are struggling to make ends meet, people and businesses opened their hearts and gave like never before.

On behalf of everyone associated with the Workshop, there is no way to adequately express our heart-felt gratitude.  Year after year, the children of Fort Hood soldiers are delighted with their gifts on Christmas day because folks continue to believe in the "The Spirit of Christmas" and the magic of Santa and his workshop elves.
